(Hons.)/M.Phil. in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification b) minimum CGPA of 3.0 from a recognized University. c) International GRE (Subject) or equivalent test passed before admission. d) A Ph.D. Scholar is required to complete course work of up to 18 credit hours and must qualify. Educational Qualifications:

·         Candidates must hold M.Phil. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Equivalent.

·         The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) required is ≥3.0 out of 4.0 or ≥4.0 out of 5.0 under the semester system.

Admission Test:

·         A subject-based Admission Test is mandatory for admission. The test will be conducted by the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at BZU, Multan.

·         Alternatively, candidates can also submit a valid GAT (Subject-Based) conducted by NTS (National Testing Service) for admission.

·         The highest score obtained in either the GAT (Subject-Based) by NTS or the Subject-Based Test conducted by the Department will be considered for merit calculations.

·         Merit will be determined based on the overall performance (GAT score of 60% or more or Subject Based Department Test of 70% or more in the admission test.

Intra-disciplinary Qualifications: The admission committee is satisfied that the applicant’s knowledge of the primary area (level 7) has sufficiently prepared him or her to undertake the course of study of the doctoral program (or, in the opinion of the admissions committee, the preparation can be deemed satisfactory by taking a few additional courses after starting the program).
