Abstract Submission

The organizing committee welcomes the submission of contributions for oral and poster presentations. Abstracts should be submitted online through the Google Form. However, to maintain specific text formatting, authors can upload the MS Word file. However, in last dates of submissions, if system is not working then the authors can send abstract through e-mail as an attachment to habibathar@gmail.com. The abstract submission through e-mail or uploading as an attachment should consider the following guidelines while preparing abstract.

Instructions to Prepare Abstracts

PAGE SIZE: Please set the page size to A4, NOT Letter or Custom.

Margins: Upper and bottom 1 cm, and right and left margins must be 1.25 cm.

Your abstract submission must include all of the following: 

  • Paper Title

      Use a concise title not exceeding more than 200 characters with spaces in length.

      Title of abstract should be Arial bold 14 and also centered.

      Use uppercase for the first letter in each word of the title (except for words such as a, an, the, or, of, for, with).

      Do not include a full stop at the end of the title.

  •   Principal author must list at first.

      For each author: First (given) name (initials not acceptable), Last (family) name (no full stop or comma), omit degrees and titles.

      Authors' names (Arial bold 11) and affiliations (Arial size 10) appear below the title, also centered, in capital and lower case letters. Give all authors' names: do not use et. al.

      Mark the name of authors with a number (1) and provide affiliations and addresses. Underline the name of presenting author.

      Mark the name of the corresponding author/presenting author with an asterisk (*) and provide phone fax number and e-mail.

      Addresses: Name of department followed by institution name, city, state, country, and zip or postal code, (if corresponding author) fax number and e-mail.

      Do not include the street address.

  •   "Oral Presentation" or "Poster Presentation."

  •   Abstract consist of no longer than 300 words or 3000 characters including spaces or length of abstract is of one page.

      All abstract must be typed single spaced one paragraph without paragraph indentation.

      Do not use any special formatting.

      Do not include footnotes or references.

      Text must be typed in Arial 11.

      If it includes special characters not normally found in Arial font, please send a pdf version in addition to the electronic copy.

      If the text will not fit within the specified size, edit it to fit; do not use a font size less than 10 point.

  •   The abstract should be saved with the filename "INCPS2024-author surname".

Presentation Guidelines

Presenters are asked to bring a USB disk containing their presentation to the organizer conference hall one hour before the day of their presentation. The speakers bear full responsibility for functionality of their presentations. They also should take care that their presentations are displayed in time and all audio-visual materials, unusual fonts, figures, etc. are properly displayed. The IT technician will assist to solve problems with your presentations in the Conference Hall.

  • Conditions of Acceptance as Oral Presentation

      Only original material should be submitted.

      Case studies, preliminary data and pilot studies are usually not appropriate for the oral format and should be submitted as posters.

      Abstracts should contain enough detail to clearly convey the approach and the results of the research.

      Abstracts which do not contain experimental results may be rejected.

      Commercial papers, papers with no new research/development content, and papers where supporting data or a technical description cannot be given for proprietary reasons will not be accepted for presentation in this symposium.

  •   To ensure a high-quality symposium, all abstracts will be reviewed by the Chief Organizer/Keynote speakers/International Advisory Committee/National Advisory committeefor technical merit and suitability of content. The Chief organizer reserves the right to reject abstract for presentation that does not meet content or presentation expectations and decision on whether to accept or reject is final.

      Most probably, the presentations not accepted for orals will be placed into a corresponding poster session.

      Notification for acceptance of presentation as oral or poster presentation will be notified through e-mail by 31st August, 2024 (Saturday).

      Notification of acceptance will be placed on conference website by the 1st week of September 2024.

      All abstracts of oral and poster presentation will be provided at Conference welcome desk.

  •   A computer with Windows 7 and MS PowerPoint 2013 will be available in each session for presentations. Laptops will not be supplied.

      Authors should be sure their presentations are legible and present a reasonable amount of data on each slide.

      Manuscripts should not be read verbatim.

      Oral presentations will be scheduled at 20-minute intervals.

      Each presentation should be no more than 15 minutes in length, allowing five minutes for questions and discussion.

      However, plenary lectures will be of 30-minutes interval followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussions.

      The Advisory Committee recommends that the presentation should be carefully prepared so that it is properly timed and of high quality. Since the time allotted to each oral presentation is only 20 minutes it is suggested that no more than thirty slides be used in the presentation.

  •   The maximum space available for each poster is 120 x 90 cm (4 x 3 ft; 48 x 36 inches) (height x width). 90 x 120 cm (portrait format not landscape).

      Make your poster easy to identify, preferably by title, author(s) and the author affiliation(s) in the heading of large size (About 2.5 cm).

      Abstract must be in the upper left corner.

      The poster should be self-explanatory so that you are free to supplement the information and discuss particular points raised by questions during the poster session.

      Use clear and precise language.

      Avoid lengthy formulations and superfluous wording.

      Keep the text to a minimum and make a good use of illustrative figures.

      Use good resolution pictures and figures.

      Use contrasting colors.

      Avoid light color on light background and dark color on dark background.

      Do not use dark shadows with dark text.

      All material must be readable from a distance of one meter or four feet.

      Type should not be smaller than 20 pt.

  •   Posters can be attached to the board by pins or Velcro which will be available at the poster desk.

      Other methods of hanging posters (glue, tape, staples, etc.) are not permitted.

      Authors are expected to be present at their poster during the scheduled time.

      Arrange for a proper carrying case for your poster. A worthy investment can prevent damage to your poster and your reputation.
