A general body meeting of ZACHO, Zakarian Chemists Organization, an alumni of old Zakariyans held under the chairmanship of Prof Dr Muhammad Najam-ul-haq, Director Institute of Chemical Sciences and Prof Dr Muhammad Yaqub President ZACHO in the Committee Room of ICS. All the agenda items were unanimously approved by the body, which includes the distribution of scholarships to needy students, medals to position holders of BS & M.Phil, and shields to PhDs. It is emphasized to increase the coordination between senior alumni and present students for internship and job placement. It is also decided by the body to conduct the annual meeting of ZACHO on 20-21 May, 2024 in which elections of new body are to be conducted.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr Mazhar Hussain, Dr Abrar Mohyuddin General Secretary, Dr Naseem Abbas Finance Secretary, Dr Muhammad Rehan Hasan Shah Gilani DSA, Wasif Mehmood Ahmad and other members.
