PhD Defense of Ms. Asia Perveen

Ms. Asia Perveen, PhD scholar at the Department of Biochemistry, has successfully defended her thesis titled “Comparative Physiological and Molecular Analysis of Gossypium Hirsutum L. Genotypes for Deciphering the Heat Tolerance Mechanism`` on July 28, 2025, in the video conference of the Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Ms. Asia Perveen completed her PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr. Mohibullah Shah. Her thesis was evaluated by distinguished foreign professors from prestigious universities in China and Malaysia. The external examiner for her defense was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Director of the Institute of Biochemistry, Biotechnology & Bioinformatics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Chairman of the Biochemistry Department, Dr. Sibtain Ahmed, along with the faculty members, congratulated the candidate and extended their best wishes for her future endeavors.
