We're excited to announce the 8th International Conference on "Global Halal Food Industry: Insights from Pakistan," organized by the Faculty of Food Science & Nutrition, the Department of Islamic Studies, and Islamic Research Centre BZU, the Institute of Sufism & Mysticism, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan-Pakistan, in collaboration with IRI International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan on April 24th and 25th, 2024, at Jinnah Auditorium, BZU, Multan, Pakistan. The International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad, Pakistan, is also a partner in this event. The conference aims to provide a deep understanding of the evolving global Halal food industry, focusing on insights from Pakistan. It's an opportunity to address challenges in halal awareness, market trends, regulatory frameworks, global recognition, and export opportunities. Keynotes, panels, and sessions will offer insights into technological innovations in the Halal food sector. Over 1,000 participants, including speakers, international delegates, government representatives, industry professionals, policymakers, and Islamic scholars are expected to attend the event. Recommendations will be compiled for policy formulation and implementation by the local and international agencies. We welcome distinguished speakers from Pakistan and worldwide, fostering networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
