Fuel Storage and sustainable energy materials: Synthesis, characterisation and testing of novel systems for storing hydrogen with fuel cells in automotive applications. Other work under this category includes the synthesis and characterisation of new anode, cathode and electrolyte materials for lithium ion batteries and super capacitor applications. Design novel electrocatalysts for water splitting and study their structural, electronic and thermodynamic properties by using Density Function Theory (DFT))
