Dr. Faiz Bakhsh is an Assistant Professor at University Gillani Law College, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. He also serves as Campus Director, as well as Coordinator Law Study Centers (LL.B 3-Year and LL.B 5-Year Programs) at Bahauddin Zakariya University Sub Campus, Vehari. Dr. Bakhsh holds a PhD from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, United Kingdom, an MA (English Literature) and LL.B from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. His research focusses on areas such as International Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law, Islamic Law of Armed Conflict, Islamic Constitutional Law, and Internally Displaced Persons in Pakistan. His doctoral work explores the compatibility between International Humanitarian Law and Islamic concept of war, particularly in the context of protecting Internally Displaced Persons during non-international armed conflict in Pakistan. Dr. Bakhsh has extensive record of research publications and supervison. He has supervised 07 PhD students (02 completed and 05 near to completion), 30+ LLM Theses supervison and 200+ LLB Reseaech Projects Supervision, alongwith working as external examiner for 50+ LL.M Theses and 100+ LL.B Reseaech Projects.
