Welcome to the Department of Applied Psychology at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Established in the year 2000, our department has a rich history of meeting the region's educational needs in the field of Applied Psychology.

At BZU, we take pride in being pioneers, as we introduced the first-ever M.Sc. in Applied Psychology program in this region, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to academic excellence. To ensure our students are equipped with the latest techniques and concepts, we have developed a forward-thinking curriculum, delivered under a semester system.

Recognizing the profound impact of Applied Psychology on societal well-being, we embarked on a mission to address socioeconomic and cultural issues, backed by sound policy research. Originally, our department was started as a part of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) and operated on a self-financed basis. In 2005, with the approval of PC-I from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, we transitioned into an independent Department within the esteemed Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences.

Drawing inspiration from the world's leading universities and the evolving landscape of social sciences, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, has meticulously designed our Applied Psychology programs. It seamlessly integrates research and coursework, preparing our students to excel in the field.

Our core objectives include:

• Providing vital mental health facilities, counseling, guidance, and human resource management services to the local community.
• Fostering the development of high-quality professionals and behavioral scientists who are deeply committed to excellence and driven by vision, courage, and dedication.
