Safe and nutritious food are directly associated with wellbeing of people and consequently stable economies. Institutions of higher education are among the masses who can play their role to create awareness for food safety and nutrition related issues. Center for Research in Food Safety & Applied Nutrition (CRIFSAN) has been established in 2021 under the umberalla of Faculty of Food Science & Nutrition, BZU with the objective to develop curricula and provide facilities not only to the students but for the stakeholders to enhance knowledge and skills in the area of food safety.
