Introduction

The Department of Food Safety & Quality Management is the first and only department in South Punjab offering comprehensive BS and MS degree programs as well as distinguished PhD program, dedicate to the field of food safety & quality management. In today’s world, food safety has emerged as a paramount concern for consumers worldwide. Recognizing this pressing need, governments and regulatory agencies have placed significant emphasis on enhancing food safety standards.

Undergraduate Program
Eligibility:

Intermediate (Pre-Medical / Pre-Engineering / ICS / A level) or equivalent recognized qualification with minimum 45% marks i.e. 495/1100, or Intermediate (Pre-Agriculture) securing CGPA 1.80/4.00 or DAE in Chemical Technology/Food Processing and Preservation/Food Technology/Agriculture with 45% marks or CGPA 1.80/4.00

Eligibility:
B.S/B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology or B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture with Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology or B.Sc. (Hons.) Dairy Science & Technology/ B.S. (Hons.) PhD (Food Safety & Quality Management)

Graduate (PhD) Program
Eligibility:
a) He/she should have passed the M.Sc. (Hons.)/M.Phil. in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification b) minimum CGPA of 3.0 from a recognized University. c) International GRE (Subject) or equivalent test passed before admission. d) A Ph.D. Scholar is required to complete course work of up to 18 credit hours and must qualify. All applicants have to fulfill the conditions laid by HEC from time to time.
