Welcome to the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), a hub of technological exploration and academic excellence. As pioneers in ICT education, we offer a comprehensive learning experience through our BS(IT) and MS(IT) programs. Our curriculum, meticulously crafted to align with industry trends, ensures that students not only grasp theoretical concepts but also gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

Within our department, students engage with diverse subjects such as software engineering, network security, cyber security and artificial intelligence, information systems. Programs Offered

The following programs are being offered:

BS (IT) Program

Undergraduate Program
Eligibility:
Intermediate with Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical / Commerce / General Science group with Computer or Mathematics / 3 years Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / IT Technology / Computer Science / A -Level with Mathematics or Computer. Pre-Medical Students subject to qualification of Addtional Mathematics subjects within 1st Year of Program Enrollment. Aggregate marks must be greater or equal to 50% in any of above mentioned qualification.

Merit Determination:

Merit will be determined according to the criteria laid down by the university. The minimum strength for a class to be started is 20.

MS(IT) Program

Graduate (MS) Program
Eligibility:
BS(IT) / BS(CS) / BS(SE) 4-year degree program (min 130 credit hours) or MIT / M.Sc(IT) / MCS / M.Sc(CS) / M.Sc(SE) i.e 16 Years Education The candidate should have obtained atleast 50% marks in annual system or 2.5 CGPA in semester system in the last degree.

Merit Determination:

Merit will be determined according to the criteria laid down by the university. The minimum strength for a class to be started is 10. Merit will be caculated according to the University criteria

BS (IT) 5th Semester

Undergraduate Program
Eligibility:
ADS (CS), ADS (IT), AD (Bachelors) in IT, ADP (IT) and ADP (CS) under semester system are eligible to apply. Merit calculations as per university rules, departmental admission committee will determine deficiency courses/ semester for all applicants. Aggregate marks must be greater or equal to 50% in any of above-mentioned qualifications.
